One of the more asinine ideas I’ve had is modern replicas of cars like these. Probably not worth the effort, but then rust and metal fatigue don’t care for how much I’d like to experience being in one.

There are so many Model Ts left, it’s not even funny. There’s probably one on craigslist near you, probably for under $10K. It’d be hard to build a replica for that price.

I live in Malaysia, where it never seems to have been especially common to begin with. Which probably guarantees that any I find will be in concours condition, but with the attendant price tag. Well, I guess it’s still worth a try.

Hot rod fodder? Or restoration?

Good ones are so cheap these days it seems crazy to buy anything in not good shape.

hot rod fodder.......i have SO MANY stupid ideas, it would be a SHAME to not try to build at least a few of them...... i would feel bad about hacking up a solid model T. these are rough enough to not feel guilty about cutting up.

full disclosure....... would LOVE to have an original T. but i live far enough away from anything, that it would be a half day drive to just get to town, provided everything went smooth. original T parts arent just falling out of trees.

i have been rounding up bits and parts for a WHILE, so most of 1 STUPID idea is laying around......
